At our recent FREE community event at the Storm Lake Public Library, the book Tell Me, Tree by Gail Gibbons, inspired a lesson on the life cycle of a tree. Students moved their bodies to that cycle and spent some time identifying types of trees by using information from the book and doing a leaf rubbing. Participants also get to go home with a free book courtesy of the Storm Lake Public Library!
