Stop. Take a slow, intentional breath in and exhale with just as much intention and purpose to slow down and connect.

Second, Choose Your Path
Safe Harbor Yoga is meant to be a safe place for all to explore their education, wellness and self through yoga and mindfulness. Some people come for the workout, others for the work in, and all enjoy the time and space to connect with others and their self.
To find what you need, I'm going to guide you through the options and provide a straight path to signing up. Each section has a button leading you directly to that source.
Classes
Safe Harbor Yoga classes are in a small group setting which people can find intimidating. There is no place to hide.
That's intentional. Not to scare you, but to encourage you to meet yourself where you are- imperfections and all.
Yoga at Safe Harbor Yoga isn't about being perfect. It's about meeting your body where it's at and going from there. We notice the small stuff and the big stuff and praise all the stuff. We're trying and that's what counts.
If you're new to yoga, or have only dabbled here and there, try a setting where other people are in the same boat.
I suggest Beginner's Adult Yoga.
Beginner's Adult Yoga happens Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 pm and Tuesdays at 6:00 pm.
Interested in the work-in and not the work- out?
I suggest Restorative Yoga.
Restorative Yoga with Safe Harbor Yoga is all about stillness, support, comfort, and the time and space to simply let go. Each pose is meant to make you feel fully supported and at ease, giving your body the system cues to replenish and restore. If you are a stressed out parent, feeling overworked, or an all around can't-sit-still-for-the-life-of-you person, this class will challenge you mentally and physically and still look like you're doing nothing!
Restorative Yoga happens once a week on Thursday nights at 7:00pm.

Feeling Anxious? Maybe a Private Session is for you.
If you are like me, you might be feeling a little cautious to be in front of people trying a new thing. In fact, if you're like I was at the beginning, even the thought of that makes you second guess if now is the time.
But now is the time and a Private Session might be just the right fit.
What is a private session?
It's online (so you don't even have to leave home!) or in-person session that is unique to you and your needs. We can specifically target areas of your body if you're seeking improvement in strength, flexibility, mobility, toning or something else.
There can be homework or not.
There can be guests (like household members) or not.
This structure is built around your needs and goals.
Private sessions are typically an hour long once a week, but other options can be discussed.

Now, Decide to Try
So many people get to this point. Right here- just like you right now. They see the opportunity in front of them and then...they chicken out. They leave the site with an unfulfilled promise to "return when..."
